Ich meine es gibt workarounds, wie man den Apps vorgaukeln kann, dass der Bootloader doch nicht unlocked ist. Such im Netz mal nach Integritätsprüfung.

Hab das gleiche Problem... Die haben doch Lack gesoffen. Das beste ist ja, dass wenn mein Handy tatsächlich gerootet wäre, es ganz einfach wäre diese Sperre zu umgehen. So trifft es nur die unschuldigen...
Mein nächstes Auto werde ich bei einem Hersteller kaufen der seine Kunden und deren digitale Souveränität respekiert.

@cuprater, do you have Magisk installed? Then you can add the MyCUPRA app to the Deny list. This is working for a rooted A16 Samsung S23 device. I have also ReZygisk and Integrity Box installed. Those also needed to use Google Wallet.

The phone is not rooted, grapheneos is just an ungoogled and security enhanced rom. For all play-service only apps, i switch to my other profile on the phone as it is a memory separated access and i can use banking and other google-services-only polluted piece of vibeware. Nevertheless, i will give it a try with the fake integrety check, thx.

VW hat im Kampf gegen Open Source jetzt die "nukleare Option" gewählt und fordert ab sofort Play Integrety um die Apps zu nutzen. D.h. ein ein zertifiziertes Android-Gerät mit originalen Google Play Services - Custom ROMs o.ä. werden damit komplett aus dem Ökosystem ausgesperrt. Da sich die Seat/Cupra-Services eigentlich vollständig den VW-Services orientieren, wird die Cupra-App damit bald für einen Teil der Benutzer unbrauchbar.

Übersetzt heißt das, mit Adroidgeräten wie Samsung sind keine Probleme zu erwarten, aber die Schnittstellen, wie du sie u.a. verwendest, werden nicht mehr verfügbar sein (so habe ich das jedenfalls aus euerem Thema raugelesen)?

Ja, zusätzlich könnten auch alle Huawei-Geräte ein Problem bekommen, die haben so weit ich weiß keinen offiziellen Playstore mehr

Wichtig ist vielleicht noch der Hinweis, dass man ohne App auch nicht Hauptnutzer werden kann. Hat zumindest bei mir und neuem Terramar nicht funktioniert, da die Registrierung unbedingt über die App abgeschlossen werden muss, obwohl ich schon eine Cupra-ID hatte. Im internationalen GrapheneOS-Forum gibt es einige, die nach Auslauf Leasing bzw. Rückgabe Dienstwagen kein Auto aus der VAG-Gruppe mehr wollen...

Ja, das ist richtig, ist bei den anderen Modellen (auch beim VFL) ebenfalls so. Ohne App kann man nur das Gastprofil nutzen.
