Schlüsselbatterie wie oft wechseln/tauschen?

• Synchronisierung durch Zündung: Stecken Sie den Notschlüssel (aus dem Funkschlüssel entnommen) in das Schloss der Fahrertür und schließen Sie das Fahrzeug auf. Starten Sie den Motor innerhalb von 30 Sekunden.
• Reset durch Tasten: Nach dem Wechseln der Batterie (Tipp: Vor Einsetzen der neuen Batterie die Öffnen- und Schließen-Taste für ca. 5 Sekunden gedrückt halten, um Restspannung zu entladen).

@Ice-Mark , I already tried the synchronization procedure which is little different than Google described. One importing thing is missing. The carkey has to be put in the middelconsole near the 'keyless' detection point. Otherwise the car can't be started. In my case I can start the engine, but in the dashboard it shows that the carkey can't be detected.

Btw, the car alarm goes on. It feels like you're breaking into your own car.

I will try this evening the reset procedure. For me it wasn't clear which button(s). In the Manual* I didn't read anything about this.
Update: the reset combination doesn't working unfortunately.

I have already followed the Manual* procedure.
I had contacted the dealer. May be the car key has to be recoded. The key wasn't during service begin December where I also received the PV4 software update.
Begin March I have an appointment by the dealer. I will let you known what the outcome is.

It turned out to be the battery after all. Today I happened to come across a box of CR2032 button cells in a completely sealed package. I gave it a try. When I inserted the button cell, I immediately saw the red LED light up. Then I tested it by opening and closing the car, which worked without any problems.

I still find it strange that the spare car key needed a more powerful battery.

interessante Beiträge.
Kann mir jemand sagen, ob beim Terramar angezeigt wird, dass die Batterie schwach ist? Ich habe bis jetzt einen Seat Ateca gefahren, da wurde es nicht angezeigt. Ich stand schon vor dem Auto und nichts ging mehr. Sehr ärgerlich, wenn es z.B. regnet und man dann an der Kappe fummeln darf, um mit dem Notschlüssel die Tür zu öffnen. Ich habe seit dem immer eine Ersatzbatterie im Handschuhfach, was aber für die Türe nix nutzt.

Also ich kann zwar nur für den Leon sprechen, der zeigt es jedoch an.
Also ja, das Auto meldet sich rechtzeitig vorher.
Ab und zu gibt es auch bei frischer Batterie Probleme mit dem Kessy, aber nichts tragisches.

ob beim Terramar angezeigt wird, dass die Batterie schwach ist?

denke, bei allen Cupra´s wird "Schlüsselbatterie wechseln" im display angezeigt. Wüßte nicht, dass hier jemand schon einmal von Gegenteil berichtet hat.
Die Anzeige erscheint für ein paar Tage bei jedem Start, dann wird´s aber Zeit, eine neue einzusetzen.
Nicht vergessen: alte Batterie raus - Taste am Funkschlüssel drücken (reset) - neue Batterie rein.
